This year's Art Innsbruck fair will be held from January 15 to January 19.

Artists, collectors, and connoisseurs from Austria and all over the world have been drawn to the fair. This year’s theme is Innovation in Art, which also plays central role in Pavel Mitkov‘s art.

"Art itself is innovation and it embodies the search of meaning, the discovery and creative approach to life." Says Mitkov and then cites his favorite Picasso in his famous phrase: "Every act of creation begins with an act of destruction", adding that in recent years we have witnessed a lot of destruction and we soon may witness the rise of creating whose forerunners are INNOVATIONS.

Mitkov Gallery innovatively presented the favorite Roosters collection. They were painted on discarded smart devices. So if you accidentally break your phone do not worry, it can become a great work of art. See the artworks by yourself on stand C09.

The exhibition was opened by the founder and director of ART Innsbruck Mrs. Johanna Penz in the presence of many honored guests from the business, politics and local government of the city of Innsbruck.
