Today, we live in an age of artificial intelligence – or perhaps by now even of brilliant natural intelligence. When Art Innsbruck held its first edition in 1996, there was no Facebook, no Instagram, no ChatGPT, and no smartphones. Today, we live in a fast-paced, technology-driven world, and yet the need to connect with something real and alive seems not only to have survived, but to have become more pressing than ever. At least, that is what the large number of visitors and the growing interest seem to show.
Our art gallery has participated in the fair around nine times over the years. Our first participation was in 2009.
One of the reasons we continued this initiative was the talented Radoslav Ivanov, a leading lawyer who was still a student at the time. Today, we would like to thank him for finding the time, despite his many commitments, to help us continue and, above all, preserve this exciting tradition.
Every time, Innsbruck welcomes us with a surprise. A delightful experience! :)))
I remember our participation with the renowned Bulgarian pianist Atanas Kareev, who is no longer with us, and his incredible concert. I also remember the excitement surrounding the large painting featuring roosters, which was shown repeatedly on television, as well as the many wonderful moments spent in Innsbruck’s traditional taverns – many of which have retained their original character to this day.
Congratulations to Art Innsbruck, and especially to its ever-present driving force and navigator, Mrs Johanna Prinz!
Cheers!
